Using DNN 5.6.2. By default, the URL of a page is based on the page's name (i.e. the words displayed in the menu for that page).

However, we need to create some longer, keyword-rich URLs that would NOT be good to show in the menu systerm.

For example, we have a "Services" page. It makes sense that the menu's text for this page is the short and simple "Services". But we want a URL of something like www.example.com/Our-Topical-Services instead of www.example.com/Services

I had assumed this could be done with DotNetNuke's "out of the box" functionality (i.e. without additional, 3rd-party tools), but can't find it.

You cannot do that out of the box. Look at iFinity URLMaster

It's a shame this isn't out of the box functionality.... It just isn't that hard. Kind of like buying a car and finding out that the radio doesn't exist. Sure there are wires there and you can buy a radio to hook up, but you start wondering what the manufacture was thinking.
