I cloned our production site and set it up on a VM to do some testing with upgrades to 6.0.I used a third party module to migrate our 5.5.1 site to the VM (Evotiva) which worked good, and then upgraded to 6.0, also successful.

I have the sandbox site all setup, looks good, but all modules fail to see files located in directories.

For instance, if I add an item (say, an image) I can choose from a list of directories (which is a correct, up to date listing) but there are only files in the directory that come stock with DNN (so non of my existing files who up). I've tried to go through and put items in different directories to see if something is just pointed wrong or if I was in the wrong directory, but there is only one directory it could be.

Site is looking at portals/0 (as in DNN settings)

Any ideas why no files will show up?

I thought about going in and re-installing modules because maybe when they were installed on the production site they were pointing to absolute path names (which would be silly, but hey you never know) but I can't even see an option to install extensions by hovering over the manage tab.

If you need more info let me know! Thanks!

try going to admin->file manager and selecting recursive sync to see if that resolves it. The modules should still work fine as they're relative to the site root. As for the missing options, please make sure you're in edit mode (the dropdown in the top right hand side of the control panel)

Yep I'm in edit mode.

Recursive didn't change anything, still can only see the dir's not the files.
