Can you elaborate? The admin email address for the portal is not the same domain as the site. Does it need to be? I am not sure how that address relates to the mail server.

I changed the admins to make sure their email was the site domain but no changes. Test email works but not newsletter module on any portal including portal 0.

-1 for AMHOSTING. Their support does not seem to be able to solve this. It must be a server issue since if I use localhost as the server with anonymous authentication, everything works. Problem is my newsletters end up in spam folders because the relay server is not matching up with the MX record. AMHOSTING says that there are so many users using email that it cant be a server issue.

Whatever. They just dont want to make sure DNN works properly with their hosting. They should take the DNN logo off of their hosting page. They are absolutely useless when it comes to DNN.

I would raise the issue with Tony Valenti.  AM Hosting is one of a couple of hosting companies (including PowerDNN) that he owns.  Surely they should have access to tech support staff that can resolve the issue.  Perigon Networks Acquires AMHosting.com

I am having the exact same problem with the feedback module. It also seems to be effecting my contact form using Data Springs Dynamic Forms module. Both throw error saying SMTP user is not authenticated. Brand new 5.6.3 site. Under host/host settings/SMTP test email does send. Looking for a solution to this problem.

Thanks

Rich
