Hello.

I'm facing a huge problem with people registering just to leave a link or ads in their profiles. I have found no way to easily check and prevent this.

Checking/viewing each and every user from the admin is very very very hard.

How do you handle this ? Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks

Costas

Firstly you could try turning on user verification - the email verification code cycle catches out most of the annoying automated systems.

Also do you have captcha turned on for your registration module - this gets rid of others.

About the only thing i could suggest would be a simple module  that loops thru your user list and checks for things like http:// and <a or <img tags in each users profile -  and presents you with a list of potential offenders -

Both of the above are already enabled. Doesn't do any good.

Also i can't find a way to just LOCK out a user.

How do you turn on the CAPTCHA for Support Forum registrations?

I'm also looking for the same.
