I have recently completed an auto upgrade to 06.00.01 (310) on our dnn website and the following error is now occuring on every page.

An error has occurred. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at ArtMenuSkinObject.ArtMenuSO.Page_PreRender(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Can anyone tell me what the error is for and how to fix this.

As i use a keep alive service on my site i too was getting woos with doing upgrades after 5 yrs i've managed to avoid the autoupgrade=false change.  Honestly i would restore you site and then make a change to the config as the wiki upgrade states as autoupgrade=false copy the files from the upgrade package onto your site and then run http://MYWEBSITE/install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade

It looks like you are using an Artisteer skin produced by a 2.x version of Artisteer? I think this error is to do with a FindControl call in the Pre_Render code for the Artmenu.
