Hi,

I upgraded my site from DNN 5.6.3 to DNN 6.0.1.
Everything 'seemed' to be OK until today.

Just now when I try to insert an image within HTML module, "image selection dialog box" pops "behind" the editor window; and I can't access that image selection box unless I close the Editor window - at which time even that image selection box goes away.

I think there is some problem with DNN 6.0.1 upgrade.

Here is my environment:
DNN DotNetNuke Community Edition
06.00.01 (310)
Browser: Firefox 6.0.2

when I clicked on Show custom editor options, I see FCK Editor Options

Module type: Text/HTML [host]
Module name: logo1
Editor instance: txtContent
Provider version: 2.0.3.22447

Please point me to any fix .....

Thanks a lot in advance

I just found the solution to the main problem.

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/DNN-600-Radeditor-Toolbar-config-options-and-Config-Features.aspx

DNN 600 Radeditor - Toolbar config options and Config Features
Modified on 2011/07/31 03:04 PM by cathal Categorized as Telerik

But... now there is another problem...

Now I can see image insertion / Image Manager window. But it empty; it is NOT listing the existing image files that are located in the Portal ROOT folder, Images folder, etc.

Then I went back to Host >> HTML Editor manager Settings.
There I see "Image Manager Settings" Path drop down list is "empty" and "small / shrunk".

Where can I set the "Path" globally for a child portal please? (so that the new Editor picks up and shows the available image files)

If no images or files are displaying in the Telerik editor. You may have this issue. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/B...

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks a lot for your prompt response.

I tried that solution (going back to FCK editor); it didn't work
I installed the DotNetNuke-RadEditorProvider again. It didn't work

About 15 min. after re-installing the above provider, when I tested, I was glad to find that it now shows "Portal Root" as the default path in the Image Manager settings.

While this will be of great help, I still can't browse to subfolders and their contents; I can only add images / link to files present in the ROOT folder.

Thanks again,
Vijay

You may have to go back and do a File Synchronize "All Files" if no additional files are showing up.

But before you do that try going to Host > Host Settings> Restart Application (At the bottom)

A lot of times clearing the cache a few times can help flush out bugs.
