Hello all,

One of our new users encountered a strange issue recently.  When she clicks on the Login link from the home page, the page posts back but it stays on the home page.  When we give her the URL to the login page, she's able to open the page.  However, when she logs in, it posts back but again it remains on the login page and she's still not logged in.  We checked the event viewer and nothing gets logged.  When we ask her to purposely supply the wrong credentials, it does login a login failure in the event viewer, but again the page just posts back with nothing changed on the screen.

Here are additional details:
--  This case is isolated to this user's machine.
--  Our login page is a custom AD login.  We enabled the default AD login page for her to test, but the issue remains.
--  The user has XP and IE7.  However, when we installed Chrome on her machine, it was behaving exactly the same as in IE7.
--  Symantec Anti-Virus, PGP, LanDesk installed.
--  She has no issues with other websites.

Before we resolve to reimaging her machine, do you have any ideas we should try?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Could this be a caching problem (either in the browser, or some other cache such as ISA Server, etc. on her network)?
