I want to change mydomain.com to mynewdomain.com
I have built up links all over the place and google results. Is there a way that any link coming in as mydomain.com/page.aspx  automatically gets redirected to mynewdomain.com/page.aspx?

This module is pretty amazing at overall url management in DNN: http://www.ifinity.com.au/Products/Url_Master_DNN_SEO_Urls

Other than that you cna do some 301 redirects at the IIS level or depending on what network infrastructure you running in front of DNN you could do it there too.

There is also some good info here: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2008/04/best-practices-when-moving-your-site.html

I use the Host Settings and add a Request Filter to do this or something similar.

Thanks,
Greg

THis sounds like what I would want to do.  Can you tell me exactly what to input to go from mydomain.com to mynewdomain.com?

I think it would be nice for this to be automatic when I change the default portal alias. Cant think of any reason I wouldnt want the entire URL to get passed on a portal alias redirect.
