Hello.

Since i run a lot of websites in my Google analytics account, i must add some extra code (apart from Analytics script) so my websites with Adsense link and show data in Analytics.

The extra code is a three line small jscript

placed in the very top of page.

I do that but in all my DNN websites doesn't seem to work. You can see how i placed it in

www.ciaovenezia.eu

and look at the source html. Any ideas why it is apparently ignored ?

Thanks

Hi Sebastian,

No i have not. Because i have enabled the analytics by entering the publisher id in DNN and now i can't take it out. I have asked about it here but got no reply. Apparently you can't get out of DNN analytics module once you enter an ID ? Not good imho.

What i have tried today is replacing the script's Double Quotes to Single Quote. It has been suggested to me by somebody. We will see.

Since use of Google Analytics is not suggested by German government, I don't have much experience with it, but I noticed the same issue on a test site recently (without further investigation).

k, upon further investigation: Analytics settings are stored in file GoogleAnalytics.config, residing in portal root directory (don't ask me, why it's not stored in Site Settings table). Deleting the file will erease your settings. HTH
