Hi,

Have a fresh 6.1 site with no additional skins or modules. When go to site settings & change title & copywrite info & press update, info isnt saved. error message i get is

please check the admin->event viewer to see if any additional errors are being logged - it appears an exception is thrown which is written to the output, breaking the DOM and hence you see the javascript error - however that is the result of the earlier error and not the error itself

if you're running under .net 4 please check your web.config and ensure the httpRuntime mode has requestValidationMode="2.0" set as an attribute, if not please set it (and also please check your permissions as dotnetnuke automatically tries to add this when it detects .net4.0 so it would suggest that the website user does not have read/write/modify permissions set correctly)

site is running .net 4 server is 2008r2 requestValidationMode is set to 2.0 permissions for the app pool are set to everything but full control.
