How can I set to Mode (View, Edit, Layout) to not display on my website. It currently displays all the time.Thanks for any help.

in site settings you may specify displaying control panel to page editors only, otherwise it is displayed as well to all users with edit permission for any module on the page

I miss understood and thought that the edit column on the permissions options meant to be able to edit the data that goes on the page instead of being in control of what was on the page, removed it and mode disappeaded from the screen.
