I installed the CK Editor and found that it does nto work with a module I need to use. When I navigate to Host > HTML Editor Manager to change back to the RAD Editor I get the following error:

Error: HTML Editor Manager is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The file 'D:\www-root\DNN_Cortland\DesktopModules\Admin\RadEditorProvider\ConfigFile\ConfigFile.xml' already exists. ---> System.IO.IOException: The file 'D:\www-root\DNN_Cortland\DesktopModules\Admin\RadEditorProvider\ConfigFile\ConfigFile.xml' already exists. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite) at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName) at DotNetNuke.Providers.RadEditorProvider.EditorProvider.EnsureDefaultFileExists(String path) at DotNetNuke.Providers.RadEditorProvider.EditorProvider.EnsureDefaultConfigFileExists() at DotNetNuke.Providers.RadEditorProvider.ProviderConfig.LoadConfiguration() at DotNetNuke.Providers.RadEditorProvider.ProviderConfig.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

How can I access this page so I can change the editor back? Thanks!

I cleared my cache and restarted the application and all seemed to be fine now. Hope this helps anyone else that might have this happen

I'm receiving a similar error, but sadly, clearing the cache and restarting the app did not clear things up.

Error: HTML Editor Manager is currently unavailable. Couple Things:

Try using this in the SQL area in the host section:

 TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}EventLog
GO
TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}ScheduleHistory
GO
TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SiteLog
GO
TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWordPosition
GO
DELETE FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItemWord
GO
DELETE FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchWord
GO
DELETE FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}SearchItem
GO

Run as a script. then clear cache, then restart application. Logout... log back in

Change editor... does it work now?

Joe, I'm getting the exact same error. Did you resolve it? If so, can you please share how?
