In DotNetNuke 6.1 how can I remove the "retrieve password" link from login forms?  I already tried disabling password retrieval in the membership provider (web.config), but the link is still there (now gives an error when clicked).

Thanks.

there is currently no UI option for this (only an enhancement request on support.codeplex.com, you may vote for).

What if I wanted to go in and modify the code? I looked at the login ascx user control file, but there wasn't much there.

I need to remove the link per client request. Thanks.

Well it turns out that I can just set the style for dnnLoginActions to display:none and that fixes the problem. And the password retrieval is disabled in the membership provider, so there is no danger of anyone circumventing the system. Thanks for your help.

sorry, chrisn, I forgot to mention, that there is code behind file as well, where you may show/hide control, but editing .ascx would be preferrable, until there is a core setting for it. make sure to log your core changes, because the files will be overwritten during an upgrade.
