I am using DNN 06.01.02 and have the site set as private and to use the default registration module.  However, when a user clicks on the register link, completes his information and clicks register, nothing happens; the site just remains on the registration screen.  I did some trouble shooting and determined that it is happening when a user is putting in less than the required 7 characters for a password.  The problem is that no error message appears informing the user what's wrong.  Any advice on how to resolve this?

Did you check this with an default DNN skin ?  Perhaps it is a skin issue, that the error message isn't shown up, or the translation to your used language is missing.

Actually, this is a bug introduced with a DNN 6 upgrade. Other threads I have seen indicated a fix IIRC in the next release. Check out this thread for some code to add if you can't wait http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/108/threadid/434460/scope/posts.aspx
