please help.

I have change settings in admin>site settings>advanced setting>site aliases from canonical to redirect and now can't access my page. Site is now being redirected and I can't access the sites settings to reverse this action. Where in SQL can I change it back? I looked under PortalAlias but it doesn't seem to be there. when I go to my site now it shows this url (trauma-cleaners.com/trauma_dnn/Instal... )

Thank you for any advise.

it's in the portalsettings table

SELECT *   FROM [dbo].[PortalSettings]  where settingname='portalaliasmapping' and portalid=<whatever portal it is>

The settingvalue should be "CANONICALURL" for canonical urls.

Please make sure and force an application recycle so the cached data is expired (direct database updates are not picked up) e.g. open web.config, add a space, remove the space and save.

I have problems with this feature and DNN 7.2.2:   I changed the setting to "Redirect" and  was unable to get to my website.   I used SQL Server Management Studio to fix the problem.

I recommend the following SQL code:

SELECT * FROM dbo.PortalSettings
     WHERE SettingName = 'PortalAliasMapping'

UPDATE PortalSettings SET SettingValue = 'CANONICALURL'
     WHERE SettingName = 'PortalAliasMapping'
