The File Manager Module on my website won't load and I get the following notice:

Error: File Manager is currently unavailable.DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderProvider.Instance(String friendlyName) at DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FolderMappingInfo.get_ImageUrl() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileManager.FileManager.PreloadFolderImages() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileManager.FileManager.InitializeTree() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileManager.FileManager.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I have changed nothing except that GoDaddy has upgraded the site to DNN 6.0.2...   Any ideas how to fix this?

Thank you so much for your patience...

I checked and the compression was off. I also discovered that the icons fromthe admin menu are gone except for settings, pages, search enchine sitemap and lists.. the host menu has its icons... Futher the text in the menus is all aligned center... And I discovered that the protal ID is 1 and that there is no 0 portal...  can that be reset?

I tried installing a second file manager module but it returned the same answer:

I think that somehow the link to the datanase has gotten messed up... can you tell me what the web.config file should have as a reference? How about the database?

The portal problem has solved itself here...  Withthe help of godaddy, I wrote a sql script that had the database reassign the entire set of tables to portal ID 0...
