There was a bug in 6.0ísh, that broke the sitemap.aspx to not show friendly urls. I didn't notice this and in the meantime Google had been indexing those pages. Now I have one of them that is ranked #3 in goolge for one of my keyword pairs. Even though the new site map fixes this, is there anyway to clean this up? I don't want these old links to stay in google's index....for one, they mess up my funnel tracking in google analytics as the friendly name for this page is part of my funnel. Now this page won't get picked up in my funnels.

But in general, since it is a valid page, and since it ranks high, will the continued clicks on it cause it to stay indefinitely in the google index? Is there a way to make it do a 301 redirect? And its not just this page, but this goes for all pages of the site.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Chad

If you're using IFinity's URLMaster this will easily get resolved. I highly recommend URLMaster for all your key DNN installations.

It will take the old URLs and 301 redirect the proper URL.
