Is there a way to set security on a document that is opened in another tab or window?

For example, you must have a user name and pw to access the help files page or the pdf page on our website.  I have these documents set to open in another tab.  So, once you enter your login and pw, the page displays and you can access any document on the page.

I copied the URL from one of these documents (in the new tab), closed the browswer, and pasted the URL into the new session.  The document opened up without requiring a login name or pw.  I would like some sort of security so users can't circumvent the security set up in the website.

Thanks

In the File manager you would need to create a "secure" folder and then store the files using that secure folder. Any links to them will then use the permissions model defined in the grid below the file manager.

Great, thanks Chris.  I'll look at that today.

Love the ride information, too.  I'll be riding in my seventh 24 Hours of Booty in July and, of course, LiveStrong is one of the big beneficiaries of the ride.
