I have some questions, with answers (in two tables) I would like to import into the journal from another module on my site.  Is there some sql I could (carefully) execute to achieve this.

I believe there are three interelated journal tables to update and my sql is not up to that level.  If someone has a workable example (given that I can extract userID, dates, question and comments from the existing tables) I would be able to modify it for my particular case.

If would be nice if I could get the data across, otherwise I may end up loosing the question (or doing it manually cut and paste, but there is a lot of them).

Answering my own question here, but I will probably go with this solution:

  1. Cut and past the questions and answers - reckon it will take me an one to two hours
  2. I have already wrote and tested some SQL which will set the userID and DateCreated by comparing the text

Given the time to work through a full SQL solution, the above will be probably be quickest and safest way.
