The editors are acting inconsistently on my site. The editor in the HTML module works fine with a white bgcolor. But the editors in the Profile description, and Q&A module is using my darker skin bgcolor. I have attempted to change the custom css "body" tag in the editor directory, but does not work in those other modules. Can someone help explain to me the inconsistency and how to modify the bgcolor in those other modules? Thank you,

What is different about the editor in the blog module, the Q&A module and the edit profile description section. The HTML editor is working fine.

I still don't know what the difference is between editors in various modules but for the benefit of the readers, I will publish what worked for me to make them consistent.
Go to: Host > HTML Editor Manager
If your current Editor is the RadEditor, like mine, then click on Default Configuration.
Scroll down in Common Settings to CSS File.
Make note of the location and name of the file and add the css file there (mine is portal root, or /Portals/0) you want the Editor to utilize. (alternatively, I guess you can change the field to another location and filename). I hope this is helpful,

the answer depends on the editor being used. if you are still using old FCKeditor 2.x, you should upgrade to CKEditor 3.x or Telerik Rad Editor. Any editor allows configuration per module or page, make sure to apply changes on website level for consistency.
