hi,

after upgrade 5.6 to 6.1.5, i can't assign any role to users except administrator role.

when click on cmdAdd button, page was refreshed fast, and role wasn't add to user.

 There is  no Eventlog,

I was change cmdAdd_Click on DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Security.SecurityRoles.cs

I coment ths code,

problem was resolved.

What's the main problem??????

as Sebastian says that code is there to ensure that only admin or superuser (host) users can add users to roles - this is a necessary security protection and not one we will remove - if you wish to delegate the ability to add users to roles for non-admins you will have to use an alternative module.
