I hope this is in the correct forum.

I have configured a new website using 6.2 and like what I see. I think I have found a minor problem with the search facility when using the Member Directory module.

If I enter a search term, like the person's last name, and click on the search button, it works great.

If, on the other hand, I enter the search term and then hit the enter key, it doesn't work. I guess I expected that it would work this way as this is the way most search fields work.

i believe this is already logged at support.dotnetnuke.com but you may want to check and log it as an error if it isnt (in some cases functionality such as this will work in most browsers so please check in an alternative browser and if it does work, log it with the failing browser name and version)

Thank you. I hadn't reported a problem with DNN before and wasn't sure of the procedure. I added testing results for Firefox, IE8 and Chrome.

By "doesn't work" do you mean nothing happens or do you get an error message?

We have more than a couple of issues logged where, if you hit enter when focus is in a specific area, you get a pop up with the message:

An error occurred adding a page:
Page name is required.

I am sorry. What I mean is that with IE8 nothing happens. With both Firefox and Chrome, a pop up (drop down) comes up with possible matches. I am not getting any error messages from any of the browsers.

While I am not getting an error message, the search command is not executed. At least with Firefox and Chrome something happens, this is a match is shown and you can click on it to bring up the result.

I suppose I was expecting the result to be the same as what happens when you click on the search button. In that case, a subset of the members which satisfies the search is displayed.
