Hi

I have a DNN6.2 installation loaded onto a shared hosting platform which can be previewed using a temporary url until I can transfer the domain name in a few weeks time.

I have inserted the temporary url of:

213.229.125.117/$sitepreview/domainname.co.uk/

into the PortalAlias table.

I can preview the home page fine but when I click any of the menu links they go to for example:

http:// domainname .co.uk/services.aspx

instead of

http://213.229.125.117/$sitepreview/ domainname .co.uk/services.aspx

Any help would be much appreciated.

Under Admin --> Site Settings, click on the Advanced Settings tab and then open the Portal Aliases section. In the "Default Alias" drop down, make sure you have "213.229.125.117/$sitepreview" selected.  If not select it and then click update then browse back to the home page (you may need to refresh the page or even, in some cases, clear your browser cache).   Does that fix the issue?

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately that did not fix it. I can't actually login due to (I think) this problem so I changed the default alias to "213.229.125.117/$sitepreview/domainname.co.uk" in the PortalSettings table of the database.

oops, yes, the entire preview domain name would be the default alias.  Did changing the table setting fix the problem?  I had the same issue with one of my hosting providers that gives a preview location similar to yours.

No, unfortunately I still have the same problem. The hosts seem sure its nothing to do with the hosting setup and is a DNN issue. I wonder if the /'s are causing the issue?
