Hi all,

I have DNN 6.1.3 installed using the default DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider. But I really want emaill links to be scrambled like the old FCK editor did. How can I do that?

Thanks, CD

i think that was custom code in the fckeditor, the radeditor does support custom filters but im not aware of a recent one for that (theres a very old link at http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet/editor/will-telerik-rad-editor-support-encrypted-email-addresses.aspx that may work)

you may try CkEditor 3 provider, which is successor of FckEditor 2. You may download ckeditor provider from dnnckeditor.codeplex.com. Please uninstall fckeditor afterwards for security reasons.

Thank you everyone. Per your advice I'm going with CKEditor. However others may need to apply this extra setting as I did in config.js
config.emailProtection = 'encode';

oops, sorry I missed that. Thanks for the hint - we might ask Ingo to include this option by default or in editor configuration.
