How can we disable the unregister button in the edit profile mode or any mode?

What happens to the users' posts in the forum when the user unregisters? Do they become authorless? Does that cause any db/seo problems? how does soft delete and hard delete affect the "authorless" forum posts?

I would like to capture the users once the signup.

I haven't tried this myself but you might be able to modify the button by editing \desktopmodules\admin\security\user.ascx or the code behind for that.

That would obviously be a core change though, and get lost during an upgrade
