Hello all

I used DNN 4.3, I add a portal allias: http://mydomain/DotNetNuke_2. It works well.

Now I want to add the portal allias: http://mydomain/ for my DNN website.

How can I do it?  Because when I add this portal allias and then access it from http://mydomain/ webserver will redirect http://mydomain/localstart.asp

Have you solved this problem, pls help me.

Thanks you very much.

You need to make the DNN site so that it is in the root instead of a sub-folder.  So that you can do this without any major changes you can download IISAdmin .Net which will allow you to set up multiple sites under XP.  You simple create a new site using ISAdmin .Net and point the root directory to the directory DNN is installed.  You then simple start up that web site when using http://myDomain.  IISAdmin .Net makes it really easy to switch back and forth.

I don't know what I would do without it since XP Pro is limited to one web site .
