Hello all,

I have a site running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server and I'm configuring the site internally.  I am browsing the site via DNS, not via the hosts file.   I seem to have issues whenever I'm trying to install an Extension.  If it matters, the extension I'm going for right now is the YAF module since I like that forum a lot.  The problem though happens whenever I click next after the initial installation welcome screen.  after clicking next, instead of getting the license agreement and all of that, the page just freezes, all buttons and links pertaining to extensions seem to disappear as well, and only the close button remains; though it doesn't do anything at this point.  Using the back button on Mozilla Firefox simply resulted in the page freezing.  I've not been able to install extensions for aobut two days now; it was working farily well the other day.  I wonder why this is happening?  If you guys know, I'd love to hear your thoughts.  When I hd DNN 6 installed in here the first time under the same configuration, it worked flawlessly.  I seem to be havingg trouble accessing other web sites optimally though as well, so maybe it's not a DNN problem?  Thanks.

Please check your physical file and Folder permissions and make sure they are inherit to al files and subfolders!

Also check what jQuery Version is used there are Settings on the host (System) Settings of DNN.

Check your Error log on DNN about install issues.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that normally whenever installing that extension, I've had to configure the maximum upload size to something greater than the default (12 MB).  I just installed form and list, and it went fine.  And also it appears that DNN likes Internet Explorer better than Mozilla for administration as well.  I don't know why that is, but mozilla has done some very strange things when browsing DNN sites.  But thanks for the response.  I will indeed check for errors in the logs; though from looking at the logs via notepad, they appear empty.  I'll definitely see what the log viewer tells me.
