In Admininstration > Page Management it is possible to define what page is the Home Page!

The Home page normally (these days) is set to the Domain Root  without any page name becoming involved.  Example:  http:// mydomain.com

But DNN6.2.x defines as default the Home Page as being the the Domain Root + the Page name defined in the Page Management settings.  This is a duplicate content issue that can not be overcome by the rel="canonical" attribute in the metatag!

I consider this a bug, but MATBE... you know of a setting that I have missed!

Sure, I could simply tell the Page Management setting to not include this is the menu... but then I would need to include a compensation in the skin somehow when users want to return to the Site root - the HOME PAGE!

Anybody got an answer to this one ????

Thanks,  Bill
