Just a thought, is there a setting in the DB that would tell DNN that a successful install has been completed and that the redirection should occur?

Perhaps for some reason in the past this install never completed (just throwring out thoughts here), and DNN thinks that when someone accesses the file that it needs to run the install?

If I can update a value in the DB to tell it not to run that would be ideal. Otherwise I'll be forced to delete the file alltogether.

there should be an app setting in your web.config containing installation date.

I have the value

but nothing in the config mentioning install or a date. Would setting the above disable the ablitly for it to work. Can I just add the date value and will this stop the InstallWizard from running? What is the format required for the date setting?

Thanks for your help so far.

My DNN install acts the same as Sebastion's. It bounces me back to the site home page.
