I've been doing extensive testing/development using the new social functionality.  One issue I continue to run into in a development mode and I'm sure will also have impact in production, has to do with profile field visibility.

If an admin or host changes the default visibility of a profile field, any existing users will not be updated to reflect the default change.  the change will only impact new users.

I'm sure this is by design.  However, at a host level it would be really nice to be able to reset/force all users (at a minimum, ie could also be role based) to the new default profile field setting.  This would still allow them to change it on their own, but resets the entire community to a known starting point.

I'm pretty sure the same thing could be accomplished with a sql query, but not 100% sure about that.
