Hello, I have started looking into using DotNetNuke  (currently using SharePoint 2007) and would like to know if there is similar functionality available in DNN when creating sites?

From what I understand so far I am able to create parent and child portals which is similar to creating portals and site collections in SharePoint.

I then want to be able to create sites within a portal for example:

1.       http://dnn.local/ (parent)

2.       http://dnn.local/Sales/

3.       http://dnn.local/Sales/North/

4.       http://dnn.local/Sales/NorthEast/

5.       http://dnn.local/Sales/NorthEast/Clev...

Please could anyone offer me some advice on how or if this can be achieved.

Thanks

I would stay away from nesting DNN websites deeply, as each website has its own user base and needs to be managed individually. You may nest pages, however, as deep as you like and are able to support in the navigation controls you are using.
