I have a site that delivers content via roles. For example I have a file that only registered members should  download.

I can restrict access to the page with the download link just fine, but if someone gets the URL to the file directly, it can be downloaded regardless of if the person is registered or not.

I have tried setting the permissions in the FileManager and it looks correct, but is completely ignored. Even if I set the permissions to Administrators only, the file can still be accessed directly.

My next guess is that somehow the folder permission in IIS or the authentication in DNN is misconfigured. The web.config looks correct though.

I am running IIS6 on Win2003. Can someone guide me as to the exact security settings I need to use on my DNN folders? Thanks.
