Hi,

We recently updated DNN 5.3. x to the latest version. Everything works nicely, but I have an issue with the ribbonbar actionpanel in IE (8+9).

One of website has got a banner (with images) above the menu. When I log in, in the top of the screen I get the ribbonbar (with the admin options, page options, etc.). When I hoover my mouse over a ribbonbar option, the actionpanel drops down. This actionpanel should be "in front" of my images of the banner (or  other images wich I use in html modules). But in IE, the images go over the actionpanel options (the actionpanel slides behind images and modules). Because the images cover the actionpanel, a lot of options can't be used / clicked.  This occurs only in IE. The actionpanel works fine in Google Chrome.

I found several possible solutions like adjusting the z-index of the .dnnmodule propperty in de default css. With a negative z-index, the ribbonbar actionpanel is now in front of the modules / images, but now I can't use the module actionpanels / edit links.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

thanks and regards,

Jan Peter
