Hi,
I am trying to upload a 3rd party module to my DNN 4.3.0 installation hosted on GoDaddy.

These are the steps that I followed-

From host selected 'Module Definition' -> 'Upload New Module'.

Browsed to the xxxxx.zip file (the module I want to upload) , Clicked on 'Add'  -> clicked 'Upload'.

It did not give any error but the zip file did not uncompress and the module definition did not appear in the list.

Any and all help will be highly appreciated !!

there should be an upload report - please post it here.

Also check, that there is a .dnn file inside the PA

Hi Sebastian,

Where do I find the report ? When I uploaded the module, there was no error or confirmation of any sort, the system just took me back to the list of modules.

Yes there is a .dnn file and I validated it (using the validation utility). It was fine.

Best,

Raj

Raj,

before you are getting the link back to the module list, there is a list of actions taken - any text in red means that therr are issues. Have a look into the log viewer, from 3.3.0/4.3.0 on the log gets stored in there.

Sebastian,

Thats what I am surprised also, the system does not display any list of actions taken, takes me back striaght to the list of installed modules (and the newly installed module does not show up there) after I hit the ADD -> upload New File.

Clicked on Admin->Log Viewer (Type option is 'All') ----got the msg "There are no log enteries"

Just an FYI, the module I am uploading is "Articles" from Efficion (http://www.efficionconsulting.com/Default.aspx?tabid=352)
