Hi Everyone
One of the changes a while back has really been one of the annoying ones, switching out the red border with a help box to tell if the module is visible to admin only or not. This textbox makes getting WYSIWYG on pages a problem.
When developing a page, you do not want everyone in the world to see it, so naturally everything should be hidden and visible to admins only. On the other hand, it's quite some extra work that every module on the site has to be checked with the "remove admin border", making the process of adding pages and modules a really slow process.
After a page is finished, it would be a good thing to display "neatly" those modules that are still visible to admin only, but not with some giant box that pushes content down.
So I'm missing 2 things here.
1. I'm missing a global switch for "display visibility on modules", that can turn this annoying feature off when developing new sites.
2. I'm missing a way to switch the gigantic helpbox out with the red border again, or some other more smooth way of showing what is visible or not (turn all text red or whatever). Introducing a big box like the way it is now, really makes designing pages hard without removing it.
I hope someone can help me change these things, or perhaps that DNN will take these considerations into account in the future.
Kind Regards
Rune
