Hi,

I was working on a DNN project a couple of months ago and had to switch to another ASP.Net application and now I am returning to my DNN project and I can't seem to log in. To make a long store short, I do not have my login credentials anymore. The tables that hold the login credentials were no longer there.

I have re-installed DNN on another database and set up a host user and then compared the two databases so that I can see which tables, procs are missing and re-create them on my existing DNN database. Then I copied over the user credentials to my existing database and I though I could log in this was but I now get an error "Login Failed. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive " which is more than I was getting before.

Does anyone know what else I need to do to access my site? I really don't want to have to start over again. I made sure the the information in the aspnet_Membership and aspnet_Users are identical.

Any help is appreciated.

the <machinekey validationkey= entrie in you web.congif need to match exactly those used in the original system otherwise the password will never decode correctly 

Alternatively - go a google search for steps to reset your password  -  try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zlMHG...
