Hello, everyone.

I would like to ask a question about removing a skin from the portal.

The topic is covered pretty good in one of the old threads, but I wanted to point out a few things that may be specific for my case.

  1. The skin I would like to remove from the portal says "Site: Skin Name" as opposed to other installed skins saying "Host: Skin Name". Could this make any difference as to how the skin should be removed?

  2. Are there are any ways or tricks to remove the skin from the portal other than deleting it from the site, server and checking that it is not applied to any of the site pages?

  3. Our DNN version is 6.1.5.

If the skin was installed on the Extensions page, it will be listed there and there should be an icon to click to remove it.

"Site" skins will be found in the Skins directory in the Portal Root. Normally this will be Portals/N/Skins, where N is the number of the portal.

You can just delete the directory in which the skin files exist.
