Hi Everybody,

Can I know how to publish dnn site to production server. In previous posts i saw that DNN sites are not allowed to publish if this is the case how can I prevent user to access the .cs files of my modules. This will not be recommended right. So can anybody help me how to publish a DNN site.

Thanks & regards,

Janardhan.

You can publish your modules as compiled WAP web applications.

You cannot really however publish an entire DNN site as a compiled application due to the way DNN works.

Westa,

I'll agree with you westa but let us assume i had some global classes under app_code folder. If I didn't publish the site those files are visible to user right this should be happen at any point of time to avoid this only we are going for publishing a website. In DNN if we don't do that how can we avoid the user to access those files. Kindly clarify this for me

Regards,

Janardhan
