I am needing to add a new security role (2013 members) to multiple existing portal pages. The existing pages are already in a 2012 security role if that helps. At a minimum it would be nice to be able to view all pages within a specific security role to make the manual process easier.

Thanks
JR

if you are talking about branches of your website and each branch (menu) has same permission, you may apply changes to topmost page and force all childs and grandchilds to inherit permission (see control panel). Otherwise you would need to use SQL to perform your job.

Thanks Sebastian. That's what I was afraid of... Is there a possibility that someone has developed a module for this type of admin work?

insert into {databaseOwner}{objectQualifer}TabPermissions (tabid, permissionId, AllowAccess, RoleId, UserId) SELECT tabid, PermissionId, 1 as AA, 234 as rl, Null from {databaseOwner}{objectQualifer}TabPermissions WHERE roleId = 123 // replace 123 with your 2012 roleID and 234 with id of the newly created role. Start with a database backup and restart app after you ran this script from inside Host > SQL.
