I've got custom error pages defined in the webconfig file, and they work - all except the 401 (unauthorized). I get the standard sharedResources 'YellowWarning' message, not the custom page name in the webconfig.

I read that the issue is quite complicated, and has to do with security hacking, etc and with iis, and .net and ....  

AND that there's a fix...

Can anyone share an easier approach, or point out my blind-spot with DNN 6.2+?

I can't answer your question (wish I could), but I wonder if you might get more response to this if it were logged in the Community Exchange rather than the forum? In the Community Exchange, it will at least stay flagged as unanswered and prompt a response. Just a thought.
