Hi,

Apologies if I am missing something obvious but I can't find any way to edit pages and content now that I have upgraded to DNN 7.  The only time I get the drop down menus from edit page, modules, etc is if I am on the Host page.

All drop down work on host page but as soon as I move to another page no drop downs work so I can't edit anything.

Please help.......

im experiencing a similar issue.

logged on as host

click on edit mode and prompts for username and password..entered host and password.....just repromts ONLY IN CHROME so far... however who cares am loving it.

so glad i stuck with it.

could really do with having checkboxes to control module appearances on pages by parents and children of , as apply to all pages is a bit drastic sometimes.

Hi 4 Site,

I might like DNN7 but I can't edit any pages, so currently I don't like it t all - the only page that the management menus work with is the host page.  As soon as I move to a different page none of the menus, including 'edit page', drop down or respond.

If there is no solution to this I will have to revert back to DNN 6 as I need to edit site content.

Has anyone else had the same problem and found a fix?

Hello DNN,

Really need help with this one, what could cause the management menus to only be active when Host page / menu is selected?

Desperately need to edit content..........

I move every DNN 7 site to ribonBar (instead of the new ControlBar) and all is well.
