@Stephan

While that switching to the old menu style is a workaround for now. It shouldn't be the only thing one can do. I am just surprised that DNN would release software that right out of the box, doesn't function properly. Especially something like this...which is a feature many people will use daily. This should be an issue that should have been addressed and fixed immediately. Plus, I like the new menu, and would like it to work the way it's supposed to work.

Works fine on a .freshly loaded site. The control bar is amazing when it work fine. Will love to use it on my live site.

I have to disagree with you on that. I am running on a fresh install of DNN 7.0.0 and it does not work for us here.

Yep, I fresh install for me does not work either. The edit button does nothing. I haven't had time to investigate what's wrong yet but it looks like a java script issue.
