I recently upgraded from 4.0.3 to 4.3.0.  When I did that, my Documents module no longer works.  When a user clicks on a document, it just hangs and never actually opens, or downloads the document.  I have looked at the properties of the document, and it all looks ok (though I am not sure I know what I'm looking at).  I've attempted to add new documents since the upgrade and it does the same thing.

The Log has this to say... ( I think this is referring to the file download, though as this is a live site, I am not certain)

InnerException: Column 'FieldTitle' does not belong to table UserDefinedData.
Message: System.ArgumentException: Column 'FieldTitle' does not belong to table UserDefinedData. at System.Data.DataRow.GetDataColumn(String columnName) at System.Data.DataRow.get_Item(String columnName) at DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable.UserDefinedTableController.GetSearchItems(ModuleInfo ModInfo) at DotNetNuke.Services.Search.ModuleIndexer.GetSearchIndexItems(Int32 PortalID)

a live example can be found at...

Bump

Is *anyone* else having issues like this?  Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Were you able to resolve this issue. I did a DNN 3.2.2 to 3.3.5 upgrade and now my documents are not even there.

Using the DNN file manager, try re-applying view permissions for all users on the folder where the documents are held.

Hope that gets you back on track.

It is funny in that I did upgrades on 4 DNN accounts and did not notice this initially. So I set the permissions on the 2 that were not set and all seems well now. Thanks.
