I have set up the technical contact at one of our customers with a role that gives them access to the User Accounts screen within the Administration screen.  He can view and it looks like he can update users details.  However when he goes into a user and changes the user Details / Profile and clicks Update it looks like it worked.  However the database isn't updated.  it does work when logged in as a super user account.

I believe in 6.2 (might be 7) we changed the way the User Accounts module works, did you recently upgrade?

I am not positive you can now delegate the user management as you once used to be able to.

Is there a way I can found for definite

1)  If it is no longer possible to delegate user management to a non Administrator

2) If that feature effects the version I am using 6.2.4

This has started to cause me quite a big problem as I am having to do all the user management for this customer and they have a totlat of 13000+ users (not all active)

Just wondering if it is possible to get definitve information on whether you can delegate update permission in version 06.02.04. This is quite important to us as we are currently having to manage this for our customer as we don't really want to give them full Administrator rights.
