Has anyone else been having JQuery Issues with the 7.0 upgrade? (I am currently on 7.0.02)

Initially I thought that it was because I had the path for latest Jquery in the Hosted Jquery section and that Jquery 1.9 (which apparently was released today) was broken, so I changed that but still no luck.

Rolling back to 6.02.04 and using JQuery 1.8.3 everything works fine. Otherwise with all of my autocompletes I am getting the following errror with my URLS:Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'indexOf' of undefined

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks,

Chris

I am experiencing this right now. What I have found is that DNN7 includes a new shared script, dnn.jquery.js, which includes an autocompete() function that is overriding the jQueryUI autocomplete function. I am trying to resolve the issue now, I'll post back when I find a solution.

So, what I did to get my module functional was to copy the entire autocomplete function from jqueryui, put it into my own project's script file, and renamed every instance of .ui.autocomplete to .ui.jqautocomplete. Then I called that new function, which now works. I am not happy with this solution as it is very brittle (because it still depends upon other jqueryui libraries and functions, which are subject to change), but it at least has me working again.

I see that this bug has already been reported:
http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...

Hopefully DNN will rename their autocomplete function in a future release to something like DnnAutocomplete().

Ugh. Thanks DNN for making me waste 2 hours tracing through Javascript code wondering why my autocomplete fields were hitting an exception.. only to find out someone decided their (old, outdated, incomplete) autocomplete was better than JQuery's...
