essentially client wants a Web Service that is invoked to create DNN users. Don't know how or why. Main thing is I'm currently creating users using the following code.

Dim objUser As New DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo()

Dim objCreateStatus As DotNetNuke.Security.Membership.UserCreateStatus = DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.CreateUser(objUser)

I call create a new user and then use Dotnetnuke.security.membership to create the user. It works well but If i use the webservice point it to the dnn database via it's web config or whatever and then import the Dotnetnuke.security assemblies would these methods work just fine? I don't see why not but before I start coding I want to confirm. I won't be inside the Dotnetnuke portal so I'm not entirely sure if it'll work.
