One of my clients recently brought it to my attention that when they post a link to their website on facebook, the words 'Awesome Cycles' appears on the top, see snapshot here: http://tinypic.com/r/2hn54ec/6 or try to post http://www.meboutique.com on your fb or journal.

I double checked page settings for all the pages and there's no 'Awesome Cycles' to be found under title, description, keywords, etc.

Here's a screenshot of the homepage settings: http://tinypic.com/r/jhwi89/6

Upgrading from 6.2.5 to 7.0.2 didn't fix it.. changing skin didn't fix it.. recreating home page didn't fix it.. :(

It only happens on a couple of my sites the other dozen or so are fine in the same installation.

Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

Please help!

Thanks,

Rob

As I posted in the Exchange, this is likely due to your Site Settings, the website name is likely still Awesome Cycles.

Found under Admin/Site Settings.

Thanks Chris, but I checked that already and there is no 'Awesome Cycles' under site settings, here is the screenshot: http://tinypic.com/r/2h4x354/6

 This is driving me crazy!!!

Looks like a page header tag issue, hopefully you didn't say copy to all pages :)

A: Homepage
B: Select Page settings
C: Advanced Settings

Look for a meta tag

meta property="og:title" content="Awesome Cycles"

You can also check meta tags from [ Admin ->  Page management], from the menu in the left select a page, from the menu of the right, select "meta tags"

You can also try this: your next web build "while installing" select the blank template vs awesome cycles, same with setting up portals.
Hope this helps

Thanks Duane,

The only place I could find a metatags box is the admin> page mgmnt, but it's empty..:(

I do use the blank templates exclusively lately because of this.

How do I remove/overwrite that darn AC tag without having to mess with the code??

I still consider it a glitch if it's not possible to change it easily from within the UI.. this is a CMS after all!
