I'm using DNN to build a portal site for our dealers.  One issue that has come up is what happens when an employee of one of our dealers is terminated.  How will we know to remove their access to our portal?  We do know that we cannot count on our dealer principals to inform us...

I thought about creating a module that would deauthorize their user accounts on a schedule and notify them via email that they need to revalidate.  Problem is that if they can't login, I don't have a UserID to reactivate their account.  I haven't come up with much more than that...

Anyone else have any experience with this issue?  Any suggestions?

Scott,

I have posted an idea in Community Exchange a while ago - feel free to vote for it. To have a "Role Administrator" in your client's company, he or she would be respnsible for the members in the "Client XY" role - and therefore can add, edit and lock out users from that role.

Thanks Michael... voted up both ideas.

I did think about having a second level user/role admin whereby dealer principals could manage their own users... I may go down this road.
