Hi,

I have a site built with DotNetNuke 4.0.3  that has recently stopped adding newly authorised users to the Registered Users role in the aspnet_UsersInRoles table in the database. As a result the site does not recognise them as being in this role and does not give them access to member only pages. The users are however being recorded in this role in the dnn_UserRoles table.

This problem started after my host altered some file permissions as I was previously having difficulty installing new modules. They say they don't think this problem is related to the change that they made.

Has anyone else come accross this problem? Can you help?

Thanks

PS if this is not the right forum for this question please tell me which one is.
