Business Site Scenario is:

Visitors applying for a job  - register on the site with just email and password  (I know how to do this).
New Employees  - register on the site with user name, email, password, and select from drop downs their department and location ( I know how to do this).

What I don't know how to do is have both registrations available.
Can this be done?

Hi John
Thinking that the simple way will be to build 2 registration page module, link them from your website landing page and let user to decide for the way of registration.
And make sure to hide the default register link from skin file.

Thanks,

Guess the first question is - do these people that are applying for a job need to be able to log into the site in the future - as such are they really becoming users or is it just some form of application process.

But apart from this - Personally  I would build a small custom to handle your visitor registrations - and just leave the normal dnn rego for you own staff.
Or two custom rego modules if you want the best sort of layout and customization control.

Thanks for the responses -

Wes - The client expects some users to register once and then be able to come back and apply for different jobs as they come open -

Sunil - I found a solution using the Dynamic Registration module. I can have conditional options depending on the user select from a radio button group and then ask for different things depending on the registration type. This is expensive but is exactly what I was looking for.
